We just heard of Wayne's passing and are in shock.  I am so sorry to hear this news.  Sincerely apologize for not being there to support you at the time.  Wayne was a sweet and generous man with a great sense of humour... always smiling and making others laugh.  Sam and Joel loved you guys and we are so thankful to this day for being their caregivers in their elementary years.  Couldn't have asked for anything better, being fortunate to have you look after them.  You have always loved your "kids" and have a passion for it.  Hope you're doing ok. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Uncle Wayne. I have only fond memories of him and feel lucky that I had the pleasure of knowing him.  I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Wayne was a very kind and generous man. Looking back years ago when my children were young I recall a time when he bought my son Troy a little toy car and so that my daughter wouldn't be left out he bought her one also and       Tanya called it "Uncle Wayne". She kept it for years and it was brought up in many conversations over the years.

I am thankful to have known Wayne for some thirty-six plus years. As I recall particularly the earlier times, back in Saint John, Kitchener, Ajax, and Pickering, I'll remember him first and foremost as a man who loved his family and was so proud of them... a man who worked hard, always striving to provide the very best he could for them.

He had some serious DIY skills and together with Marion, took great pride in renovating and re-decorating many very lovely, warm and welcoming homes over the years.

Wayne, you were a generous, always the first to offer help, kind, and fun-loving friend. You will be missed. Rest in peace.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Uncle Wayne I remember so much about you the times we went to MaKays dairy for ice cream that was always a special treat or just the times we would walk down HIghlandview and I tried so hard to follow in your footsteps .You were always kind and soft spoken .And when you smiled your eyes danced . I will remember forever. And now as a adult I tell all my peers My uncle Wayne worked for Sears too . I know I have some big shoes to fill but still very proud to follow in your foot steps the same way I did as a child .Thinking of you today and everyday .Well I think now is a perfect time for ice cream

So many years have passed since Wayne and I worked together. The memories seem as if they were only yesterday.
It is with fondness and happiness I recall the many nights over the winter months Wayne played floor hockey at Ajax High.  He had the hardest shot and could put the puck in the net from the end of the gym! 

Wayne was always thoughtful and considerate of others and went out of his way to help.
The memories of those days will be lasting and special.
