Mike and family,
Very sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I knew her when she was 14 years old, and have many happy memories from the cottage. The many times we walked from the cottage to her home in Colborne, the times when you used to drive all of us for lunch in Oshawa to your parents home on Bloor Street, they still bring a smile to my face. She will always be remembered by her infectious laugh and smile, she will be missed.

It is with a sad heavy heart that I receive this news regarding Carol Anne Browne.
She was my first account manager going back to 1992 at the Bowmanville Branch on Temperance Street.
Carol was a sympathetic soul and instrumental in assisting & protecting me, mostly from myself, during those early business years.
I also remember Carol as a very knowledgeable, caring and fun loving person.
She was an outstanding lady and will be missed!
I offer my condolences to her family and friends.

We met through Rotary and fast became friends. I have many wonderful memories of Carol who always had a smile and looked on the bright side. We worked hard together on planning Rotary Auctions, we joined the Running Room together and enjoyed morning runs and girl times. She was brilliant, funny and generous. I never could convince her wine was fine but she did love her Spiced rum and coke. I’ve missed her already but she will forever hold a warm place my heart. Rest In Peace lovely lady. Deepest condolences to Mike and her loved one.

I had the privilege of meeting Carol in 2000 when I was transferred to RBC Durham Region. She was one of my managers running Bowmanville Branch and at first she held back a little until she was comfortable with my leadership style. From the moment I "passed", she was a staunch supporter and great friend. That is one of her attributes that made her so special. She was honest to the core.
Irene, my wife, and I were deeply saddened to learn of her passing and want to convey our deepest sympathy to Mike & family.

I first met Carol when I was transferred to the Bowmanville RBC Branch. We became fast friends. Carol moved onto Courtice Branch however we remained very good friends. She was always there for me whenever I needed advice, guidance or just an ear to vent to. She adored her girls, grandkids and loved Mike with all she had.
I remember the day Carol and Mile came into Oshawa Main and shared the sad news with me.
Carol you put a 10 year battle with this terrible disease.
I will miss you dearly my friend. I certainly hope you have found the Best Golf course up their.
Rest In Piece. Until we meet again. Xoxo

My condolences to Mike , Christy, and Kelly and their families.
I worked with Carol for many years at RBC, Oshawa main branch.
She was one of the smartest, and funniest person I’ve ever met. I always knew she would do well in her career with the bank. We both lived on Olive Ave. Oshawa, at that time and I often visited with her and the girls when Mike was working nights. R. I. P Carol.

Bill and I moved beside Mike and Carol to the semi on Bloor in 1978. Over the years many wonderful memories were made. From backyard Barbecues. Jamaican holiday, weekends at the cottage. We had great fun.
My two girls were born to this house and Carol was always there for me.
So many dinners on Winston with Trivial Pursuit after. Carol seemed to always get partnered with Bill.
So many memories!
She will be missed! RIP my friend ❤️
Love to Mike, Christy, Kelly and family.

So many happy memories, from working together at RBC to parties and golf dates, when we were together there were always lots of laughs. Carol and I and the kids would get together on Friday nights when the guys were on the night shift and she’d have a couple of spiced rums and I a couple of beers, and we’d gab the night away while the kids tore the house apart. Thank you for your years of friendship....rest in peace 🙏 Love to Mike, Christy, Kelly and your families....she will be missed
