Elgin Holody

- peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, September 16, 2012 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Eugenia (Jen). Loved son of the late Valeria and Martin Holody. Loving father of Teri Tyce (Peter), Alan Holody (Terri), Joanne Moore (Chuck, deceased) and predeceased by his son Michael Holody. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren David, Erik, Stasia, Brandon and Davis. Dear brother of Ed Holody (Matilda), Helen Newistuk (Joe, deceased), and Millie Fugina; predeceased by Sabina, Julia, Marie and Jenny. Dear brother-in-law to Florian Tomalak (Zena). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the Staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Whitby for their care and kindness. Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church, Oshawa on Friday, September 21st at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Oshawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
