We received the news of the passage to eternity of your beloved mother, late madam Elizabeth Udo Akpan with shock and much sorrow. We recall that she was very dear to you not just as a mother but indeed a mentor.
However, since death is a necessary end for all mortals and no one can prevent it, we implore you to accept it as the will of the Almighty God and advise you not mourn like people without hope ( 1Thess. 4:13) - knowig that there's hope to meet again to part no more.

Please accept our sympathy, Token, Elijah, John , Emmanuel and the entire family.

For Mr. E..W. Obong's family.

Aunty Elizabeth - a woman of God and a family friend. Very hospitable, generous and loving. You opened your home in Canada for me with smile, and gave me the full right to eat anything from your fridge anytime. Knowing you was a blessing and I and my family will miss you. Rest in perfect peace.
May God comfort, strengthen, and keep the family that you leave behind in Jesus name. Amen.

Dear grandmother, I call you that because you have been a mother , a grandmother, and great grandmother to many. Although our time together was short, I would like to take the time to say thank you. For the short while I knew you. You showed immense strength all through and I will forever emulate that. Thank you. As you go with God, I know you will watch over us and guide your children as you’ve always done.

My family got to know Akpan family through our very kindhearted man of God, Pastor Elijah.
He treated us as his biological siblings when we arrived in Canada.

Mama, there is no doubt that you were a virtuous mother who had taken her time to lead her children in the way of the Lord.

May you continue to rest in the bosom of the almighty God.

May the good Lord grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen.
