Dear Cherie and family:
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mom. Freda was amazing! She was the best baker on Simpson Road; and when she taught you all her recipes, you were the next best! Freda's Date Squares were the stuff of legend.

Your mom was one of the kindest people I have had the privilege to know. She had the biggest heart, bursting with love. She was welcoming and hospitable to everyone that entered her home. And EVERYONE entered her home! She
had the most beautiful laugh, and shared it often. Everyone loved your mom.

Cherie; I know how close you were to your mother. Your mom was your closest confidant, even when you were a teenager (when most children distance themselves from their parents). I simply cannot convey how sorry I am for your loss. Please take some comfort knowing that your mom was loved by everyone who knew her.

Sincerely, and with love,
Charlene Mitchell

I have many beautiful memories of Freda. She was a very kind and giving woman. Take peace in knowing that those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel you know.

With love and remembrance.

Grief is the last act of love we can give to those we loved.
Where there is deep grief, there was great love.....
Cheryl, Smitty, Connor, Quinn and families it is with great sadness
that I read about the passing of such a happy, fun loving woman.
I have fond memories of visiting with her and the cats when you used
to live in Chatham.
My heart goes out to all as I have experienced the loss of both parents also.
There is not a day goes by that I do not think of my wonderful Mother.
Cherish the memories and hold them close to your heart.
