Jackie is survived by her 7 loving daughters: Donna (Steve), Penny (Raymond), Candy (Roy), Cindy (Doug), Reta (Phil), Sherry (Glen) and Tracy (Mitch). Grandma Jackie will be missed dearly by her 16 grand-children and 20 great-grandchildren. Jackie was predeceased by her husband Donald James Young, her parents Tony and Rita Zicari and her siblings, Ross, Ronnie, John, Norma, Joan and Frank.
Those of you who knew Jackie understood how important her family was to her. A phone call to “Mommy” or “Gramma” meant you were able to catch up on everyone at the same time. Despite her large family, she always made time for each of us.
Born in Toronto, Jackie was a long-time resident of Ajax and was very well known in the community. She worked at the Penn Centre Restaurant for many years and was affectionately known as “Mommie” to all her staff.
There will be a celebration of her life for friends and family in the coming months.
She will be deeply missed!
