Mom and Dad loved to go on camping trips across Canada, Alaska and Florida. Mom loved fishing. Catching a pickerel gave her a great thrill. Treasure hunting at auctions was another passion of Mom’s. Winters Mom and Dad enjoyed skidoo trips, ice fishing, euchre and cribbage.
Mom also volunteered at the Haliburton Hospital gift shop for several years and participated in the fundraising.
Above all, she was an amazing mother. A friend, confidante and advisor. All that met her loved her. She never forgot an important date and would take the time to drop a line, card or call. She was such a kind and considerate person.
