Maretta Kaye Hossack

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, October 7, 2016, at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband Bill (October 11, 2006). Loving mother of Ken (Susan), David (Christine), Larry and Debbie Bryant (Darcy Tompkins). Cherished and much loved grandmother of Matthew, Michael, Katie, Kim, Kara, Katie, Samantha, Cody and great grandmother of Ricky, Emily, Rhylin, and Addi. Dear sister of Eleanor Price (Bill), and Judy Frey (late Don). Brother-in-law Pat Mahoney and Doug Radford. Predeceased by sisters Lorraine Mahoney and Carol Radford and brother Bryce Skinkle. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Lakeridge Health – Durham Regional Cancer Centre, the nursing staff at Saint Elizabeth Health Care, the staff at Central East CCAC and Dr. Mark Lewicki. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on October 15, 2016 with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
