Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Stanley, and her dearest son Stephen. Loving and devoted mother of Michael (Annie), Sandra Thompson (Carl), Alan (Venessa) and Karen Peralta. Cherished grandmother of Christopher and Lauren. Marlene will be remembered for her commitment to caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved ceramics, golf, bingo and knitting. Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Sunday, February 26th, 2017 from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 4:00 pm.
