It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beautiful Mother,
Daughter, Sister, Aunt and friend on October 15, 2021 at the age of 36.
Monika was a loving Mother to her son Nicholas Thomas. Her world revolved around him and
her kind and loving spirit will live on through her precious boy.
A cherished daughter to Peggy Draper (Earl) and her late Father Thomas Bendoraitis.
Monika is survived by her siblings Heidi, Kurt, Erika (Jason), Jennifer, Eric (Kirsten) and her
Uncles Bernhard Bendoraitis and Werner Keppel.
She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Damien, Isolde, Kara, Jada, Korina,
Archer, Kaysen (and the late Armani) as well as her cousins Scott, Glenn, Rayna and Daniel.
Monika had so many dreams and goals, most of which included helping others.
Whether it was saving animals or people, Monika just wanted to make the world a better place.
After years of dedicating her time as a volunteer firefighter in Northumberland County, Monika
graduated from the Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatch program with honours. She was
subsequently hired as a 911 dispatcher for the City Of Toronto. Leading up to this
accomplishment, Monika was a valued employee at Markham Stouffville Hospital, where she
worked in admissions for the Emergency Department.
Monika left an impression on everyone she met. To know her, was to love her.
A purer heart could not be found.
Although we are heartbroken, we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to love and be
loved by someone so very special. She left such a big impact on this world.
A Private Celebration of Life service will be held at Courtice Funeral Chapel 1587 Highway #2
(905-432-8484) on Saturday October 30th, 2021.
