We wish to express our condolences to  the famely  of Mr  Shirchenko, I all ways admired,  Mr Shirchenko  as a  man full of wisdom and kidnes, I learn lots just spending a few years. around our brother in Christ Mr Shirchenko.it was a pleasure, to be around him all the time. he give me great advises he was like a father to me.... he will be missed, by many, he was a true Christian

We are sharing in your sorrow at this time on the death of your loved father, and wish to extend our deepest sympathy to all of you and your big Family.

We had the privilege to meet and to know your “Tatko” for only 4 years, but we feel like we knew him all our life. We always liked to listen to his stories about his difficult life, during famine, war time and emigrations. These stories teach us how to never lose the faith in God, how to love the people and forgive them. We will always remember him as a true man of God.

I am very saddened to learn of a great loss of my dear friend. I have known him for a short time, but he was like a grandfather to me. He had a tremendous impact on my life.  Anyone who knew him certainly found themselves encompassed by the tremendous love and compassion that he carried. His incredible testimony was his life filled with suffering as well as great victories. I will always remember his great smile. He was always slow in judgement and quick in forgiveness. He had lived close to his Lord and Saviour every day. His book “The second coming” is definitely a holy spirit inspired message to the current church. I will never forget the blessed times I spent with him in the church, at home, in the restaurant.  He has inspired and challenged everyone to ask themselves “are the things you are living for worth Christ dying for? His family is tremendously blessed to have such an incredible father, grandfather and a great-grandfather as well as a treasured friend to many who have known him. He has always inspired me to: “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.” Luke 12:35-36. For surely his heart was where his treasure was in heaven!

I would never be able to fully express my deepest appreciation for the impact that he has had on my life. In my humble opinion I cannot think of a more perfect passage that would describe his message to everybody he came to know: 
 “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:1-8.
Our Dear Brother Mykola Shirchenko has been promoted to Glory on October 25, 2012. He has fought a good fight, he has finished his race, and he has kept his faith! He is Carried by Angels to the Realms of Glory.

I've known brother Szirczenko for only a few years, but I've been incredibly touched, moved and inspired by his life during this short time. He was a true testimony of someone that has surrendered his life to the Lord and what God can do through someone completely devoted to him. He was a true saint that walked in the footsteps of the Master. Brother Szirczeko was a tremendous inspiriation, a spiritual role model and a very good friend for us at the Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. He had a heart for his people and his homeland of Ukraine. I remember how he rejoiced that we were able to immigrate to Canada escape the hardships of Ukraine.

I will always remember his friendly smile, warm hugs and our long converstions. He was always happy, always glowing, always ready to encourage and support. His heart was full of humility and the love of Christ. When Sunday came around I was always looking forward to see and speak to him and be encouraged. It seemed to me that he was always living in eternity, and now he was promoted to glory and received the crown of righteousness. His testimonies and stories of the Lord's faithfulness will forever be cherished in my heart. 

His life of holiness and simple obedience to the call of Christ was examplary and tremendously encouraging for me. People like him are very rare, and it was a privilege and a blessing to have an opportunity to know him. I thank God for knowing and learning from him. I will miss him very much, and just can't imagine what it will be like in the church without him. But I know that right now he's at the Celestial City, rejoicing and singing praises to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords !!

"Only one life, twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last. And when I am dying, how happy'll be, if the lamp of my life has been burned out for Thee."
