It broke my heart to read of my dear old friends passing. When we were 11-12 years old, Bob was my best friend in grade 6 at Pauline Ave P.S. Although I moved away from the area and we lost touch I have never forgotten him and the memories of those times.
I always knew that the great kid back then would become a respected wonderful man.
My deepest condolences to Bob's family.

Judith, Bob, and Matthew, we are deeply sorry for your loss!
The most difficult episode is one’s life is to lose someone dear. Uncle Bob was one of those people, his charismatic ways and his charming personality made him quiet the unique person always. We will miss him dearly. He has touched our hearts, he left great memories we will ponder over time and time again to come and we'll laugh without his presence or we will remember him in silence.
He had so much love and admiration for everyone, may his dear soul continue its journey, and may the family find comfort within each other to pass this most difficult time “Together is Stronger”, we pray that his soul finds peace.

Love from Chris Orr (Nephew), Shakila, Jacob, and Joshua

Sincere Condolences to Carol, Judith and all the family re the loss of Bob. He was much to young to leave this world and many, many people will miss his smiling face and good nature. I remember when he was born and watched him throughout his life be a loving brother to Carol. They shared daily exchanges of laughter and sometimes sorrow as they remained close siblings throughout the years. May all the happy memories you all shared be prevalent always. I know I have many of Bob and his kindness to me over the years.
With sadness, Theresa Sheppard

A more wonderful brother has never walked this earth. I will miss him more than anyone could ever imagine. I felt his pain and suffering but now he is at peace though we are all in pain now.
He had a wonderful life filled with loving people and all the hobbies he loved so much.
Judith, my heart aches for you and Bobby and Matt as mine is for me. Thank you for all the love you gave to him.
And to Keith, if you read this, he said you were the brother he never had. Thanks to you.
Everywhere I look in my apartment, he touched, hanging pictures and making wonderful flower arrangements and even though there is a pandemic and we can't socialize he spoke to many people here and they thought he was wonderful and that he was. For 72 years, he was in my life always, daily phone calls, visits and tons of love and for that I am grateful

We are saddened by your loss and hope your wonderful memories will bring smiles and laughter to comfort you.
Bob will always be remembered for his keen interest in race cars in his youth. He loved all things cars (dune buggy, TQ Midget racing cars, late models). He loved the smell of gasoline and the roar of the engines with the hope of getting that checkered flag at the end.
As well, he was a talented florist and designed floral arrangements for dignitaries including former Toronto mayors, Premiers of Ontario, sports figures , TV personalities and well known Canadian authors. Bob was always willing to go for a tea run to the neighbouring bakery during busy seasons in the family business, Pauline Florist, bringing back hot eckle cakes for all.
I fondly remember him demonstrating a new material that was meant to hold flowers in a container more securely. As he directed all the employees to look at the fabulous arrangement, he turned it upside down and sadly it all fell out. Laughter was the only answer to such a demonstration.
So many memories and so many jokes he would tell. I'm sure he will have all the angels laughing in heaven.
