Passed away, peacefully with family by his side, after a courageous battle on Tuesday, July 14th, 2015. Much loved husband of 43 years to Vanessa. Loving and devoted father of Blair Michno and her husband Adam. Cherished Papa of Dylan and Frazer. Predeceased by his loving sister Joan and Sister in-law Isobelle. Remembered by his brother in-law Richard. Will be missed by cousins Sandy and Tom in England and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ron will be remembered for his devotion to his family, kindness, and his wonderful sense of humor. Special Thank you to Dr. Devost and the caring staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway#2, Courtice, (905-432-8484) on Wednesday, July 22nd in the Chapel at 6:00 pm; followed by a catered reception.
