Uncle Rudy.
He was an exotic enrichment of a relative in my childhood. Coming around occasionally from a faraway country, having a lot of drinks and a Rolex, driving races. And always cool and good looking. Every month I got mail from the U.S. when the national geographic magazine came he subscribed for me.
In 1989 he gave me his fancy car - plus gas card of course - to drive around in canada with my wife Doris.
I know that he wasn´t a family man in many ways. Being my uncle he was. Without him going to Canada in the 50th I wouldn´t have a cousin and family in america. I would never have met so good and valuable persons like Josette, Sofia, Jim and Beverly. And - I would never share am memory in english.
Pictures is from 2010 showing Rudy, me, my wife Doris and our daughter Eva.
In loving memory
Kai

I became a DAC member after watching Rudy race with Harry Bytzek at Mosport one day in thier 911s, making wild passes changing positions lap after lap, two wide through the corners, at times on the grass!
A true character that would get in your face, loved to "shoot the sh*t", will be missed by everyone that knew him.
End of an era.
Very Sad. My condolences to his family.
