Shirley Leslie, nee Traynor, of Nestleton Ontario, passed away on January 2, 2014 at the age of 84. Born April 15, 1929, Shirley was predeceased by her husband James Leslie, and was survived by her brother Trevor, her daughters Sherri and Deborah, son Ronald, son-in-law Harry, son-in-law the late Rick Gay, daughter-in-law Sandra and 7 grandchildren, Trevor, Matthew, Derick, Rickey, Shannon, Danielle and Kelly-Jean. As was Shirley’s wish, no funeral services will be held, instead donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or The Durham Humane Society in Shirley’s name. You can remember her and only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on, do what she would want, smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
