Its hard to believe a year ago today you took your final breath and the monitor went quiet as u left us dad the rollercoaster ride we were on is still clearly in my mind it doesn't feel like a whole year.
I hope your okay up there rocking the karaoke and xbox. But most of all watching over all your family nz & canadian those darling cats still miss you too!. When i had Jaxon i was over the moon & then when i thought about that u guys would never meet each other i would break down even mum did . I miss u every minute of everyday and i will always love u and do the best i can with my life. Cant believe i have my own little family now i can imagine how wrapped u would be. I just want to say thanku 4 all the love and support we have been given during this time and helping to keep dads memory alive. Love u Dad ?? Always and Forever.

Today would have been your 51st birthday. I remember celebrating your 50th, you wanted to go to Teddy's and have your Elvis burger and fries, and of course the best homemade strawberry pie.  I think back to another birthday, Jenn, Nick, you and I went to Montana's for all you can eat ribs.  You had absolutely no clue what was coming. It was a rare night there was not another birthday happening, which made this all the funnier.  I had very quietly told our server it was your birthday.  The look on your face was priceless.  Out came the servers singing Happy Birthday, you joined in singing and clapping, not realizing you were singing to your own celebration at that point.  Our server then announced to everyone in the place it was your birthday.  It got funnier when you were told to stand on your chair and put the moose ears on while everyone sang to you, the look was priceless.  Every time a pass a Montana's, I can't help but laugh.  I miss you so much, Shadow still looks for you.  I know you are looking down on us, watching out for your unborn grandson.  Love Julie

Rest in peace Vince.  We have many happy memories from years gone by... thanks for that last $10 we needed to pay off the slot car set, and for driving us in to town to collect it!  We thought you were pretty special!  I was proud to be in your bridal party and we both enjoyed "The Cars" music, thanks for sharing your albums with me. You have gone! Passed over into that far superior realm where love is the currency, and peace, joy, understanding, forgiveness and acceptance surround you!

What a shock - your massive stroke two weeks ago from which you did not recover! So great that your children were able to get to your bedside and be with you - to share this special time of deep shock, sadness, emotion, love, and inner healing.

You are the youngest of our large family - our dearly beloved young adopted brother - and only fifty! I remember that great little fellow of long ago! You brought such love and joy to our parents! You join them now, along with Lois and other loved ones who have gone to God. What a re-union!

Matthew and Rosanne remember with fondness and joy the great time Uncle Vince gave them when we visited New Zealand when they were younger, and when you visited us in Oz. They send their love and condolances, as does Peter who wanted to be remembered to you all.

Goodbye Vincent.  I will always remember you with love, and in  my prayers, and in spirit. Keep a place for me. I'll catch you down the track a bit! Love you. Bye!

Sorry we didn't get to your bedside in time, dear brother, but we're glad your heroic struggle is over. Reminds me of the heroism required of you in the many struggles of your life. I so wanted to whisper "I love you" in your ear, and pass on the same message from Rosalie, Mary, Michael and Gabrielle. Too bad - I'm sure God is letting you understand those sentiments right now, and much more surely than I could have done.  And of course, our love will be pale stuff compared to what you must be experiencing now of God's love.  

You deserve that peace, that joy, that ultimate goodness.  Looking forward to joining you there one day, dear Vincent.

Where do I begin. A down to earth affectionate man, with the most beautiful smiley chocolate brown eyes that lit up the room. He loved a good laugh, was romantic at heart, had a wicked sense of humour and didn't judge others. A man that wasn't afraid to show emotion and touched many around the world with his ability to mix well with people from all walks of life. My brother in law Vince is unforgettable to me, shame we didn't get to say goodbye, but I will never forget and will watch the videos full of memories we all shared. This has been so sudden and unexpected little brother. How I wish I could have come to Canada to see you before you left us. What a dreadfully sad time this is for all of us. Vince you were the youngest of our family and should have waited for your rightful time to leave us! You were too young to go and so suddenly and unexpectedly. What a sadness it is for me not to have been able to see you to say goodbye. At least I know that you will now be with Mum and Dad, Lois, Gerard and Denys who will all have been there to welcome you into the next world.
