For Vince,
You are the greatest love ever, my best friend, light of my life and my happiest days ever. Because of you, we built a beautiful family, a home filled with love and so many happy times. We had rough spots to but we got through everything because we did it all together. A team. I feel so lost without you. I will cherish every second we ever had together. Please know that you are so very loved and missed and we will meet again. So wait for me in heaven where you surely are and meet me at the gate when its my turn. Ill be looking for you. I promise to live the rest of my life in ways that would make you proud and guide our kids in ways we both felt are right. Someday we will be together. Good night my love.

Dear Vince.
I cannot speak about you without speaking about you & Melody as a unit. You were the heart of the family and Mel, the nurturing blood. As a family, with all your children around you, your home is an encompassing haven for anyone fortunate to be your extended family through blood or friendship.
Our families were able to entwine through friendships, neighbourhood, Girl Guides, Scouts and School Council.
Your kind heart, enthusiasm, love of life and family, hospitality, and desire to share your knowledge - made you a great Scout leader, a good father and a warm friend.
I treasure all the time we enjoyed together.

Eternal rest grant onto you, O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon you. Amen.
Cathy

My deepest sympathies are with you Melody, and your family at this difficult time of sorrow. I was so sad to hear about Vince's passing. Vince was a wonderful friend. We had so many wonderful and fun events during the time when Vince was a Cub and Scout Leader with the 469th Scout Group, but especially when we had our wonderful "Auxiliary". The dances, and Euchre Fun Nights were always the greatest memories. Most of the planning & preparing was done at your house. Your home was our second home, and your family was my second family. Thank you for sharing Vince with us.
We will remember Vince and never forget him. Our prayers go out to you and your family.

I remember the first time ever meeting Papa Vince when I was young a major comedian always trying his best to make us kids laugh I remember the times where I would spend the weekend at their place while they lived in Scarborough with the train tracks in the back yard he asked Nana Melody to go grab us these real Italian sandwiches before she left for work then he taught me how to play cards while we would watch T.V waiting for the others to get home from work I'll remember you always for the laughs and love that you gave me Papa I love you

I unfortunately didn't get to meet Vincenzo in person but had many laughs over video chat with Roseanna. He and Melody loved to make fun of the way I pronounced Italian words or the fact that I thought ricotta was supposed to go in lasagna. (And also that it does actually go into cannoli's, who knew it wasn't buttercream?)

I pray that he is at peace and no longer in pain, and that he will watch over his children and wife until they can all be reunited again. I wish I could've met you in person sir.

I remember when Melody introduced Vince to me. He was dressed in suit and tie and as we all were back then into the disco clubs. I thought to myself now this guy is the right guy for my sister. As you can see it lasted 39 years. Its called unconditional love .We will always remember Vinces smiles

The angels looked down from heaven one night.
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.

They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took you up to heaven,
Forever to remain.

Look down on us from heaven.
Keep us free from hurt and pain.
You'll always be within my heart
Until we meet again.

May your rest in Peace Vince, you are gonna be dearly missed by so many.

Vince,

You are missed, my friend. I enjoyed the times we spent together over the years and all the things that we did together. Your love of life and others was bigger than most can imagine. I know that you're in a better place now and that you will be with all who knew you in our memories. Rest well my friend.
