Sixta L. Herrera, age 97, passed away on February 25, 2013, in Baldwin Park, California. She was born on September 27, 1915 in Gallup, New Mexico. She was retired from the school district and lived in the San Gabriel area for 35 years. She is survived by Frank Fernandez, Oscar Herrera, Nadine Marquez, 13 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
