Vernice J. Solomon, age 87, passed away on March 3, 2013 in La Puente, California. She was born on March 5, 1925 in Tennessee. She was a clothing business owner and lived in the area for 70 years. Some of her favorite things were cooking gumbo, art, gardening and she was a champion card player. She is survived by Allana (Glenn) Stephens, William Peele Jr. and 2 grandchildren.
