Adrienne Fourroux Dunn, 76 of Covington passed away on September 3, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 28, 1950 in Kenner, LA to the late Lloyd & Annabelle Fourroux. Adrienne is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jane and Gay.
Adrienne was born and raised in Kenner and graduated from Riverdale High School where she was on the dance team. This is where she fell in love with dance. Separately, she was trained by Joseph Giacobbe, who was a world-famous performer. Then in 1968, when the Saints came to New Orleans, Adrienne joined the Mam’selles who later became the Saintsations. After being on the Mam’selles, Adrienne opened her own dance studio, Adrienne’s Dance Academy. There she taught hundreds of students over the years. She was so proud and loved teaching her young students and watching them flourish and perform.
Adrienne was a member of the Eastern Star. She loved being outside - especially gardening. Adrienne was an avid cook and loved cooking her Cajun and creole cuisine. She had a profound love for animals, especially her dogs and hummingbirds. Adrienne was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend to so many. Her legacy lives on in all of us and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Adrienne is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Chris Dunn; children, John McCawley (Tracey); Adam Menszer (Allison); siblings Lloyd and Tim Fourroux. Adrienne also leaves behind a host of friends and extended family to cherish her memory.
