Beverly was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Donald Smith for 69 years. She was the devoted mother of Cindy Hilbert (the late John Hilbert, Jr.), Patricia Smith, and Joseph Smith (Wanda Smith). Loving "Mimi" of Andrew Hilbert and Madison Smith Branch. Great-Grandmother of Caroline Hilbert, John Hilbert, and Benjamin Branch. Sister of Sybil Hopkins of Durham, NC, and the late Geraldine Pagnac. She is also survived by other relatives who will forever cherish her memory.
Beverly was a big enthusiast of Carnival, and was active in the Krewe of Isis. She also did volunteer work with the Lions Club and Lakeview Hospital. Beverly was known for her excellent cooking, and her love of holiday gatherings. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation for Beverly will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 beginning 10AM, followed by a Catholic Service at 12PM at Grace Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana. Beverly will be laid to rest at a later date.
