Carole Rafael Nary

Carole Rafael Nary passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved wife to the late Clyde James Nary for 69 years. Daughter of the late Cervera S. Rafael, Sr and Carmen Rafael. Sister of the late Cervera S. Rafael, Jr. Mother of Carleen Nary, Clifton Nary (Sharon), and Clayton Nary. Grandmother of Clayton “Buz” Buzbee, III and Rusti Wilson (Ryan). Great-grandmother of Callie Wilson.

She was a devoted wife and mother. In her younger years she loved to shop, go on cruises with her family and go to casinos with her husband. In her later years while living at Summerfield Senior Living, she enjoyed bingo, exercise class, listening to live music, watching the Saints games and feeding turtles in the pond. She was a native of New Orleans and later moved to Slidell area until her passing.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Visitation will be held at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, October 7, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with funeral services in the Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the services in St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden adjacent to Grace Funeral Home.
