Clyde James Nary passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved husband to Carole R. Nary for 69 years. Father of Carleen Nary, Clifton Nary (Sharon), and Clayton Nary. Son of the late Louis W. Nary, Jr., and Hilda P. Nary. Grandfather of Clayton “Buz” Buzbee, III and Rusti Wilson (Ryan). Great-grandfather of Callie Wilson.
Clyde loved fishing, going to the casino with his wife, and spending hours a day on his computer. He was a native of New Orleans, and later moved to the Slidell area until his passing. Clyde was an employee of Boh Bros. Construction Co. for over 40 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Visitation will be held at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM, with funeral services in the Chapel beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow the services in St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden adjacent to Grace Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Nary may be made to an Alzheimer’s Society of your choice.
