Dewey was a member of Cultivation Church in Covington. He loved his son Gavin, watching football and having a Strawgator with friends. Dewey worked in the family business at Northlake Glass with his brother and late father.
Dewey is survived by his beloved son Gavin Emmanuel Carpenter. He is also survived by his mother Patricia K. Carpenter; his brother Dwayne Carpenter (Rachel) and sister Deanna Carpenter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Dewey is preceded in death by his father Dewey Carpenter, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Cultivation Church, 958 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m.
