Chuck was born on November 17, 1953, and died on December 31, 2025, after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. True to who he was, he met his illness with grace and courage never complaining – not even once.
Chuck grew up in Gentilly and attended Holy Cross High School where he played in the band and played basketball. Later, he became an avid triathlete participating in hundreds of triathlons all over the country and was a 3-time Hawaii Ironman finisher.
Chuck was the son of the late Edward and Mary Lou Farrell, husband of Janice Bernos, brother of Mary Kay Hamauei, Janice Evans, Pat, Billy, Louise Ingram, Lynette Blossman, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Trinity Dr, Covington, LA 70433 on February 16, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and go on until 12:00 PM. Burial will be private.
