Floyd is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie (Melancon) Greene; his children Jenna Kelly (Cory Lemoine), Stephen Kelly (Erika), and Garrett Greene (Kendall Brown); and four grandchildren Lillie, Stephen “Finn”, Graham, and Rhett Kelly.
Floyd is preceded in death by his father Floyd Greene and his mother Shirley Stapp Von Planta, as well as his father-in-law Lawrence Melancon, and mother-in-law Lillie Hebert Melancon.
Floyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a big smile and a bigger heart. He loved family and friends dearly, and looked forward to laughing, sharing good times, and making memories. Besides his love of golf and Destin, his family was the most important thing in his life. His children and grandchildren brought more joy to his heart than they ever could imagine. His family and friends will miss him dearly, but we have comfort in knowing he is smiling down on us with that winning smile, and will forever be in our hearts. Until we meet again. Rest in peace and know you will be missed each and every day, and loved forever.
