I was so sad to hear about Jamie. She was way too young to be gone. I worked with Jamie when she was in Norfolk VA. She was always happy. She loved her family and spoke so highly of her Nieces and Nephews. She adored them all. I’m so sorry Gay, I know you two were so close. I’m hoping she enjoyed her few retirement years and I hope Gay is also. Loved these two sisters, such characters! She’s singing with the Angels. Prayers of peace for her family and friends.

Ms. Jamie was one of those people that you couldn’t help but smile around. She could instantly put a smile on your face with her lively spirit & attitude. It didn’t matter how long went by between visits, it was always like no time had passed when she greeted you with a big ole hug and smile. We’ll miss you always. Rest In Peace our sweet Ms. Jamie. ❤️

My dearest, Jamie.

I really haven’t the words to express how saddened we all are. The thought of you not being here with us is heartbreaking.

You are one of the most loving, compassionate, genuine people that I have ever had the honor to meet.

I know that you’ll light up Heaven with your dynamic personality. And your love of our Lord...

I’m privileged to have known you, my friend.

My thoughts & prayers go out to your family. And to all of the many lives that you’ve touched. RIP, my girl!

We will always love you...

We defiantly lost a good one. She was the kindest funniest person in the world. Could make anyone feel welcome. We played CYO cabbage ball together and have great memories. One night we all stayed up for 24 hours and could barely see the next day but played ball anyway. What a wonderful person and she will always be smiling in my memories. I am unable to make funeral but I am sending prayers

I've only met Jamie two or three times at our family functions. Loved talking with her and also loved all the food she made :)
She was a really sweet woman and talked with me as though she knew me for a long time.
I was saddened to hear of this loss. My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to her family and also my brother (Took) and Rick!

My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. Jamie was such an amazing, genuine person. So full of love, compassion and concern for others. I’ll miss so many things. From the late night texts to the birthday cards that she never forgot to send. She left a huge mark on me, as I’m sure she did with everyone she called friend. Rest In Peace, Jamie. ❤️🙏🏻🕊

My beautiful Jamie!
She was THE welcoming committee for my bible study group here in Virginia. She always had a smile on her face and she gave the best hugs. I always found myself sitting near her so I could just be around her amazing presence.
She prayed for me one time when I was having problems with my son and I felt her prayer radiate over my entire body. She loved God so much and shared that love with ever single person she met. We miss you, Jamie.
