

Jeannette M Hauptmann, 82 and was a long-time resident of Diamondhead, MS. She was born on May 22, 1943 in New Orleans to the late Joseph Monjure & Evelyn Ford Monjure. Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents; son, Glenn Hauptmann; and brother Joseph Monjure.
Jeannette grew up in New Orleans and went to Nichols High School. She later moved to St Bernard Parish to raise her family. Jeannette worked in the banking industry for many years before her retirement.
Jeannette was a devout catholic and helped in her parish. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Diamondhead. Jeanette loved sewing and crochet work, which she would donate to friends, family, and those in need. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. Her legacy lives on in all of us, and she will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Jeannette is survived by her children, Karen (Frank) Cretini, and Sidney (Lisa) Hauptmann; daughter in law, Michele Hauptmann; grandchildren, Evan Cretini, Andrew Cretini, Shannon Etheridge, Lexi Ankersen, Jamie Hauptmann, Brandon Suit, Jessica Deschamp, Lance Hauptmann, and Baron Hauptmann; sisters, Rose Gilmore, Myra Kattengell, Aline Holm, and Diane Couture. Jeanette also leaves behind to cherish her memory 16 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
A Rosary will said at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Diamondhead (9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571) with visitation to follow. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571).
