Col. John Hillary Boh, Jr. passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 84. A native of New Orleans, Jack has resided in Mandeville for the last 25 years. Proud graduate of Jesuit High School Class of 1958 and graduate of Northwood University. Colonel and Commander of the 159th Fighter Group of Belle Chasse, a member for 37 years. Jack was the life of the party, loved to have a good time with family and friends. He also had a passion for "fast things" like F-15 Fighter Jets and sport cars.
Preceded in death by his parents John H. Boh, Sr. and Clare McAlister Boh, sisters Beverly, Joan and Mary Lee. Jack is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eva Boh. Father of Jason Boh and Shannon Boh Dahmer (Ryan). Grandfather of Ava and Charles Dahmer. Brother of Diana, Hillary, Eric (Liz) and Sean (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jack was a great husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by everyone who knew him!
A Memorial Visitation for Jack will be held at Grace Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by Memorial Mass at 12:00 PM. Military Honors will be rendered at the conclusion of Mass.
