Joe was the loving husband of Bonnie Le Beau for 37 years. Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy O'Neil Le Beau. He was the devoted father of Pamela Le Beau Breaux (Kenny), Joseph Le Beau III (Lorrie), Michael Le Beau (Phillis), Jeffrey Le Beau (Kristen), David Le Beau (Trudy), Glenn Le Beau, and the late Penny Le Beau Lemmola (Frank). He was the proud Paw-Paw of twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Joe was a member of the St. Bernard Car Club and the Slidell Car Club since 1989. His 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air, affectionately known as Ms. Alice, was his pride and joy, and he never missed a chance to cruise the coast with the music of the 1950s playing. A proud member of the Andrew Jackson Masonic Lodge in Arabi and a devoted Catholic, Joe lived a life grounded in faith, family, and friendship. He was known for his quick wit, legendary dad jokes, love of dancing, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved. Above all, Joe was a family man. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whose lives are forever richer because of his love.
A Memorial Visitation will be held for Joe at Grace Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana on August 25, 2026 beginning at 10:00AM until Mass at 12:00PM. Joe will be laid to rest at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
