Juan Jose, our beloved son, grandson and nephew, was granted his angel wings on October 5, 2020. Born on May 22, 2015 to his Mami, Lilianny Sanchez, and father, Juan Carlos Guiza, Juanjo was a beam of light who had a gentle and happy nature beyond his years and this world.
A magical, outgoing boy with a cool spirit, Juanjo left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved spending time with his devoted family, including his Papi, Niray Perea, his Abuela, Airet Arciniegas, his favorite Tios, German and Roberto, and Tia Kathy and Tia Andrea. Juanjo was a playful child who loved horses, sharks, Christmas and Halloween, almost as much as he enjoyed singing and dancing; and when he grew up, he wanted to be a pirate.
As we grieve the magnitude of this loss and the void it will forever leave in our hearts, we celebrate the life of our smart, brave, little boy who filled every day of our lives with an abundance of love, wonder and laughter; and whose memory will live on in all of us.
The family welcomes all to attend Juan’s funeral services Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Grace Funeral Home, Covington, LA 70433. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a ceremony immediately following. To honor Juan, the family asks everyone to please dress in white or light blue. Due to COVID-19, face masks are required.
