My uncle Flip was super fun , outgoing ,and just one of the best Men I ever knew ! He taught me how to pull a prank and what was over the line .. lol . I and my brothers were very lucky to have had him in our lives he inriched it so much ! We had so many fun times I can't count . I learned so many lessions from him and my Dad and the older generation on how to be a man , husband and Father. I will always keep them close to my heart .. Flip taught me how to play basketball and gave me a love for music and use to carry me around so I felt like superman. I love you uncle Flip and miss you

Flip was one of the early AM fixtures at The Met, a great gym/club in downtown Houston. Affable, good-natured, and was usually rockin' LSU wear during spin classes. I will miss seeing his smile and exchanging the righteous "Geaux Tigers!" with him at The Met on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings--before 6AM.

He was universally liked by all who knew him.

My deepest condolences go out to his family.

Flip - Bobby and I are having a cocktail in your honor tonight! They say only the good die young and your were definitely one of the good ones! My heart aches for your family but I’m sure you are busy telling our Savior about your beloved Saints and rallying the jazz greats to start a heavenly Jazz Fest! You will be missed, my friend! We are Heartbroken, Only the Great memories of time shared with Flip will ease the pain. He was a caring, fun loving man his compassion for others knew no boundaries. How fortunate we are to have shared time in his life. I tried to single out a event that I remember most there are none. He made every gathering, every event a memorable one by spreading his joy and happiness for life. Denise once said he was a inspiration! My Friend you inspired us all. Thoughts and Prayers are with Laurie and Family.
