Khanh Ngoc Vo, known affectionately as Connie by some, passed away on May 10, 2024, in London, UK, at the age of 61. Born on April 3, 1963 in Saigon, Vietnam, she moved to the United States where she touched many lives with her energetic and generous spirit.
Khanh dedicated her professional life to bringing beauty and care to her many long-time customers as a manicurist and pedicurist. Her work was not just a job, but a way to connect with people, leaving a lasting impression on her clients.
She was a vibrant soul, loved for her charm and youthful energy. Everything she did, she did with the intent to make life better for someone else. She was always thinking of others. Khanh was musically inclined, often singing karaoke with friends or playing mandolin for her husband, Tan Vo. Her hobbies included travelling with family and friends, spending quality time with her grandchildren, and enjoying her garden over a cup of tea with her husband. She had a flair for dressing up for events, making every occasion memorable. She loved socializing and had a knack for storytelling--always expressive and animated with her anecdotes, told with such relish.
Khanh is survived by her loving husband, Tan Vo; daughters Crystal Vo Moody and Julie Vo Helget; grandchildren Benjamin, Marcus, Evelyn, Élana, and Sylfreya; mother, Gioi Nguyen; and siblings Ann, Lucy, Thao, Anne, Tien, Thanh, Trinh, Tommy, Mylynn, and Theresa. She was preceded in death by her father, An Nguyen, and siblings, Thu and Thang.
Private services will be held at Most Holy Trinity Church prior to Khanh being laid to rest at St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden. The family expresses their gratitude to Grace Funeral Home in Covington, LA for their compassionate services.
