Robert Sheridan Allbritton, beloved father, husband, brother, friend, cousin, and son, passed away on August 6, 2025, at Lakeview Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. Robert was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on July 10, 1987, to his loving mother, Nona Sheridan, and father, Robert Merrill Allbritton.
Robert graduated from Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, Louisiana, before attending the University of Louisiana of Lafayette, where he received his bachelors and masters in Architecture. His greatest college accomplishment, however, was meeting the girl of his dreams, Katie Klebba Allbritton. Robert was a renaissance man and was able to move through life effortlessly, making friends and memories wherever he went. That, along with the ability to tear up a dance floor, made it inevitable that he would hit the jackpot by meeting and falling head over heels for the love of his life.
Robert had the innate ability to bring joy and celebration wherever he went. He lit up any room with his infectious smile and graceful presence. The soundtrack of his life was always on time and set the mood for any occasion. He was always in the “pocket”.
Robert was always enthralled with children, so it should come as no surprise that he and his wife brought into this world three exceptionally beautiful and unique children. His children brought him such joy and made him beam with pride. Robert relished engaging his children through many activities including father/daughter dances, dance recitals, and coaching his son in numerous sports.
Robert is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Albert L. Allbritton, uncle, Lee Allbritton, cousin, Taylor Allbritton, maternal grandparents, Ney and Isabel Sheridan, Jr., aunt, Mary Groth, uncle, Darryl Groth, uncle, Joe Sheridan, cousin, Breaker Sheridan, uncle, John Sipos, and uncle, Honorable Sean Early.
Robert is survived by his wife, Katie Allbritton, his children Matthew, Edie, and Elle, father, Robert M. Allbritton, mother, Nona Sheridan, maternal grandmother, Edith Faye Allbritton, brother, Michael Sipos (Amy Yacorzynski), brother, Phillip Sipos, brother, Jack Allbritton, “Uncle” Mike Sipos, mother-in-law, Gerry Klebba, father-in-law, Peter Klebba, sister-in-law, Ashley Joiner (Blaine Joiner), nieces and nephews, Kaiden, Avery, Aubrey, Hudson, Natalie, and Simone, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:30 am on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Grace Funeral Home (450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington). Words of Remembrance will be spoken at 11:30 on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Grace Funeral Home. A Reception will follow at Greystone Hall (935 Clausel St, Mandeville, LA).
In lieu of flowers, we’re asking friends, family, and anyone who feels led to help to consider donating toward the ongoing needs of Matthew, Edie, and Elle. Every contribution will go directly toward supporting them — not just in their education, but in every way they grow, heal, and move forward. Just as Rob would’ve wanted.
