Robert E. Merklin, age 83, of Covington, LA passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. He was born on April 27, 1938 in St. Louis, MO.

Robert is survived by his daughter Heather Palmer (42), his son-in-law Derek Palmer, and his granddaughter Haley Palmer (7).

Robert was a kind, genuine, and loved father, grandfather, and friend.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside services at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr., Slidell, LA 70460 on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
