Staci Marie Netterville Courtade, age 35, of Mandeville, LA passed away surrounded by her family after a prolonged heart valve disease and lupus, on Monday, June 14, 2021. She was born on June 17, 1985 in Baton Rouge, LA to Tommy Lee Netterville and Angela Marie Davis (Netterville).
Staci is survived by her beloved husband, Donald “Don” Joseph Courtade, Jr.; her children Devin Courtade (Deette), Gavin Milner, Allie Milner, and Hayden Courtade; her fuzzy buddy Banner Beauxe; and her parents Tommy Netterville and Angela Davis. She is also survived by her siblings Sarah Netterville and John Netterville; her nephew Myles Netterville; her maternal grandparents Claude and Rose Davis; her paternal grandmother Jeanette Black; her father and mother-in-law Donald Courtade, Sr., and Patricia Courtade; as well as numerous extended family and friends that will all miss her dearly.
Staci is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Ovid Netterville.
When Staci entered the world a month early at just over 5 pounds, she was already eager to socialize. She participated in cheer and dance at school, and was always a fierce, and occasionally mischievous, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. With an energetic and playful personality, she enjoyed many festivals, holiday activities, crafting, and especially Halloween costuming with her family. Her beautiful spirit and quick smile will remain a treasured memory for all time.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 12:00 Noon with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the services in St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden, adjacent to Grace Funeral Home.
