

Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Rodriguez Bayhi; his daughter Jennie Bayhi Flores, son Carl Bayhi, and grandchildren Adrianna Flores, Sophia Flores, Daisy Bayhi, and Jack Bayhi. He is also survived by his sisters Debora Bayhi Hemelt, Bonnie Bayhi Apkin, Marla Macaluso, and his brother Jason Bayhi.
Billy is preceded in death by his father Carl Benedict Bayhi and mother Lenora Miller Bayhi.
Billy grew up in the Irish Chanel and later Napoleon Ave. of New Orleans. He was a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School where he was the Drum Major. As a talented saxophone musician, singer, and dancer, Billy touched the hearts of all those who knew him. From family to New Orleans patrons on the parade routes, his singing and horn playing was heard with the greatest moving band in the city “The Yat Pack”. Billy loved his family and friends with all of his heart and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 beginning at 11:30 AM. Services will begin with Words of Remembrance at 1:15 PM followed by Mass, with Fr. Damian Zablocki officiating, at 1:30 PM.
Burial will take place privately at a later date.
