William "Billy" H. Bragg III

Billy was born August 31st, 1944 and entered eternal rest on September 21, 2021, at the age of 77. A native New Orleanian who currently resided in Madisonville, Louisiana, and was a proprietor of B-Imports. Billy may have left this Earth, but not without leaving his mark. Billy had a big heart that overflowed with generosity, and he never met a stranger. Billy’s laughter and wit will never be forgotten. Billy loved fishing, golfing, hunting, watching the sunrise on the lakefront, and breakfast and lunch with his friends. He loved to spend time with family, and he especially enjoyed traveling with his wife, Elisa. Billy is survived by his wife of forty eight wonderful years Elisa C. Bragg, his son Jason Neil Bragg, and granddaughters Madison and Reagan Bragg. Billy is also survived by many brother and sister in laws, nephews and nieces, and a large number of extended family. Billy is preceded by his father William H. Bragg ll, mother Rita Prendergast, and sisters Carolin and Joanne. Billy’s memorial service will be held at Grace Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana on October 2, 2021 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 in the morning. Interment will follow in the adjacent St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden. The wearing of facemasks during the visitation and service is encouraged.
