Yvonne was the oldest of 9 children born and raised by Wilson Attales and Marjorie Rabalais Attales in Ville Platte, Louisiana. Bergeron, Jr. Yvonne taught at St. Mary’s Dominican High School in New Orleans for 20 years, and then continued her teachings at St. Scholastica Academy in Covington, LA, retiring in 2008.
