Oak Creek resident, Bonnie Jean Petrini-Blackman, died on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at her home in Oak Creek. She was 46. Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020, at the George Family Ranch in Phippsburg. Burial will follow at Oak Creek Cemetery. Bonnie Jean was born the daughter of Beverly George and Richard Petrini on December 19, 1973 in Kremmling, Colorado. She spent a few years in Texas, but the majority of her life was spent in Colorado. Bonnie graduated from Soroco High School with the class of 1992. Following high school, Bonnie furthered her education at Southwest Texas Junior College and Texas A & I where she studied law. While attending school she met Jay Blackman. The couple married on December 27, 1997 and to this union a beautiful daughter was born. The marriage ended in divorce, but the couple remained friends for their daughter. Bonnie worked for Winter Garden Coop for several years. It was a job she truly loved and missed when she had to leave. One of her other greatest passions was working on ranches. In her spare time, Bonnie loved to spend time outdoors, especially around water. She was an avid reader and enjoyed drinking coffee. Above all, she was a devoted mother and loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege to love and know her. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Bailey Blackman of Sabinal, TX; her mother, Beverly George of Phippsburg; and two brothers, Bridger (Janelle) Petrini of Raton, NM and Ben (Kristle) Petrini of Colorado Springs, CO. Bonnie is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly. Bonnie was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Bonnie was alway my favorite. She was my cousin but I always looked at her as an aunt. We had a lot of things in common as I got older I will miss her very much and I love you Bonnie. And Bailey I’m here if you need me. I love you.

It's been a long time since I last saw Bonnie but I was blessed with her friendship when I was little. I will always remember playing in the Yampa, the smell of railroad ties, making forts from haybales, sleepovers and riding horses. She was an amazing friend and she will be greatly missed.

Prayers and love to her family and friends.
Hugs,
Angela Pagenkopp (von Schalk)

I’ll always remember the countless days hanging out by the pool soaking up all the sun we could get. The good times and the bumps in the road. I’ll never forget her laugh or her beautiful smile.
RIP Bonnie. We will see each other again one day. I love you girl .

So thankful I got to meet this wonderful lady. Although it’s hard that’s she’s not here with us anymore, I know she’s looking down watching all over us... especially you Bailey. Love you so much.
