Dear Loyle, Kathleen and the Brennise family,

My deepest condolences to you and yours for the untimely passing of Keith.

My memories of Keith begin when we met at around 7th grade. We found we had a lot in common as we doodled in English and art classes, drawing snowmobiles (Articat and Chapparal), diesel trucks (Kenworth and Peterbilt), farm tractors (International Harvester and John Deere), and more. We liked thinking outside the box, imagining making these vehicles faster, more powerful, and cooler. These memories were carried throughout our young lives, into high school and beyond.

He had a contagious, uplifting, positive personality that was matched by his bright talents, art, athleticism, and creative spirit--not to mention his reverent smile. He will continue to brighten my heart and memory whenever I'm in need of a positive, up-lifting thought, as I am sure his children understand.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Keith Brennise.

Keith, I'll always remember you as a peaceful warrior...
I'll always remember your laugh...
I'll never forget your love for cars and our return from the east coast in a WW2 era car, called 'Clyde', you somehow made road worthy...
Adorned with our new mtn. bikes on the roof, you insisted we ride to the highest point in Kansas...
may your ride be the highest my friend.
all my best to your family.

love, RB

Mr. and Mrs. Brennise and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Keith’s passing it makes my heart hurt.
I have fond memories of Keith giving me rides to school when you lived on Ohio Creek, in art class sharing his art talents and challenging you to see things differently, and at sporting events, always conducting himself in the spirit of good sportsmanship. He was Always respectful , quick with a smile and always had kind words to say. Time passes to quickly. Please know that Keith touched many lives and will continue to do so through his children and influences that will carry on forever. May precious memories bring all of you comfort in the days ahead .
Peace and God bless you all.
