Coltyn was the beloved son of Angela and Parrish Terry and was raised in Craig, Colorado. He attended Sandrock Elementary, Craig Middle School, and Moffat County High School. During his school years, Coltyn was active in wrestling, cross country, track and field, and band, where he played percussion. He was especially proud of wrestling, where his unique move earned him a place in school history and became known as “The Terry Pin.” He later graduated from Nixa High School in Nixa, Missouri, in 2021.
Above all, Coltyn was a loving father to his daughter, Oaklynn Raine, who was a very special part of his life and brought him immeasurable love, meaning, and purpose. His love for her will forever be one of the greatest parts of his legacy.
Coltyn had a passion for life and a natural curiosity that could be seen in everything he did. He loved running, wrestling, line dancing, playing the drums, and working on bikes and cars. He took pride in fixing things with his own hands, learning as he went, and never being afraid to get his hands dirty.
His faith in God was an important part of who Coltyn was. He is remembered for his faith, his determination, his laughter, his many passions, and most of all, the love he had for his family and his daughter.
Coltyn is survived by his daughter, Oaklynn Raine; his parents, Angela and Parrish; his brother, Jesse; his sisters, Josie, Paige, Phalynn, and Patience; and many grandparents, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly and will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Though his life was far too short, Coltyn made an impact on the lives of those who knew him. We find comfort in knowing that he is now home with God, free from pain and suffering, and resting peacefully in His loving arms. We believe his faith has carried him into the presence of the Lord, where he is at peace.
As we grieve his loss, we hold close the hope that Coltyn is watching over his precious Oaklynn from heaven. May she always know how deeply her daddy loved her and carry that love with her throughout her life.
Coltyn was cremated on October 1, 2026. A celebration of Life will be held at the Journey at First Baptist Church in Craig, Colorado on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing the Oaklynn Raine Terry brokerage account in honor of Coltyn and his love for his daughter.
