Ed was born December 9, 1947, in Newark, New Jersey and moved with his parents to Las Vegas when he was young. He joined the Navy in 1966 as a Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron member where he served for one term, after which he moved back to Nevada. Ed worked as an electrician early on and was then a bartender in the Las Vegas area when he retired.
He then moved to Craig, CO to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, bowling and time with his family. Ed was a doting father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Ed is survived by his brother Rick, his son Gary Sullivan, daughter Kathy (Frederickson), grandchildren Tyler Marshall and Myranda Madsen, and his great-grandchildren Broddie and Brooklyn Madsen. Ed is preceded in death by his mother Mildred, his father Martin, and his sister Darlene.
