On Monday May 24th, 2021 Jeffrey Charles Richards, beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of 70. Jeff was born on April 12, 1951 in Palmerton Pennsylvania to Willard and Constance Richards. He graduated from Palmerton High School in 1969 and went on to attend and graduate from New England College. He relocated to Craig Colorado in 1974. He married Diana Stewart on June 1st, 1979. To their union three children were born. Jeff worked hard but played harder. He loved playing golf at the Yampa Valley Golf Course, but he took his clubs with him where ever he travelled. He loved cross-country skiing, canoeing the Yampa River, any type of sport, travel and reading. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Jeff was proceeded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife Diana, his daughter Jennifer (Levi) Henry of Grand Junction, CO. His son Clayton (Heidi) Richards of Craig, CO, his son Willard (Nicole) Richards of Craig, CO, his four grandchildren, and his brother Willard (Brenda) Richards of Palmerton, PA. Memorial donations may be made to Partners Mentoring Youth of Routt County in care of Grant Mortuary.

Dear Richards family... my deepest sympathy for your loss. I graduated with Jeff from Palmerton High in 1969 and played on our football team with him. Jeff was a wonderful human being who was always positive and had a friendly smile for all he met. I am happy to have known him. He will be missed.
