Paul Richard Merrick was born to Paul Jackson Merrick and Hellen Merrill Merrick in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 6, 1941. On December 3rd, 2020, at his home, he was surrounded by his loving wife Grace, children and grandchildren when he was called to rest. Paul is survived by his wife Grace, Children Candy (Scott) Beach, Randy (KayLene) Merrick, Cathy (Shawn) Curtis and Windy (Casey) Herninger; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Paul loved hunting, fishing and camping when he could. He also liked antique cars and working on them. He liked spending time with his wife, family and friends.
Paul was proceeded in death by his oldest son Paul Merrick, his mom and dad, sisters Nancy Penhollow, and Marty Sullivan, brother-in-laws, Bill Penhollow, Billy Mohney, and Tom Jenkins all of New York. Paul was cremated and a celebration of life will be held this coming spring with family and friends.
