Reta K. Hall
October 17, 1942 – May 3, 2019
Reta Kay (Troutwine) Hall, a longtime resident of Craig, passed away in the morning hours of Friday, May 3, 2019, survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul Hall. Reta was born Saturday, October 17, 1942, the youngest of 7 children in the quaint town of Sheridan, Missouri. Reta married the love of her life, Paul on Friday, September 12, 1958; with whom she had three daughters, Cindy, Mary Lou and Paula. She was also the grandmother to 5; Heather, Holly, Clinton, James and Heidi. Reta and Paul also raised a great-grandchild as their own, Tory Tovar, who will without doubt welcome her and help guide her through the next part of her journey. Those that were lucky enough to get to know her knew that she was so much more. She, of course, still had all the qualities mentioned before, but she added her own brand of quick wit, a sharp tongue and a qualified demand for respect. She was more than a friend or boss or family member. There was something about her that made her stand head and shoulders above the rest, regardless of her height…she cared. Reta, a devout Christian, will be missed by the community as she participated in 4-H, Little Britches as well as worked at the Holiday Inn of Craig as the food and beverage director. In her 16 years there, she worked with the Moffat County School District to implement a successful work placement assistance program for teens and young adults. Memorial gifts are requested to be made to a local charity of the donator’s choosing. A memorial will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019 at Paul and Reta’s Home.
