

Born June 15, 1972 in Peoria, he was the son of Raymond Earl “Butch” and Sandra Joy (Stephenson) Thomason.
Surviving are his father of East Peoria; two sisters, Hope (Jake) Neuenschwander of Marquette Heights and Brooke (Jeff) Blahnik of Germantown Hills; nieces and nephews, Kendra (Jeff) Wetter of Bardwell, Kentucky, Ryan (Alli) McClanahan of Manito, Rya Neuenschwander of Marquette Heights, Gabriela Blahnik of Germantown Hills, Steve (Kally) Blahnik and Laura (Tom) Joseph, both of Peoria and three great-nieces and nephews, Garrett Wetter, Boston Blahnik and Blake Blahnik.
His mother preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of East Peoria Community High School and had attended Illinois Central College, where he took welding classes. During his junior high and high school years he excelled in baseball and wrestling.
An ironworker, Bryant last worked for Security Fence Company. He formerly had worked for ADM as a maintenance worker for 7 years.
Bryant loved his family dearly and his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart. He loved fishing.
His memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home until 7 p.m. Cremation has been accorded.
