

He was born September 12, 1952 in Pekin to Billy Gene and Beverly Lavon (Myers) Beasley.
David is survived by two daughters, Jennie Rose Beasley of East Peoria and Stephanie Ugarte of Peoria; one son, Derek Thomas Beasley of Denver, Colorado; three granddaughters, Peighton Rose Moffitt of East Peoria, Alina and Lisel, both of Peoria; his mother, Beverly Beasley of Marquette Heights; one sister, Belinda Kay Luellan of Mackinaw; three nieces, Kody, Kacey & Kelly; his godson, James Banks and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his father, Billy Gene Beasley and the love of his life, Linda Mae Weeks.
David proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He worked for Caterpillar, Inc. in Mossville for 31 years, retiring in 2003. He was also the owner operator of Beasley’s Lawn Care for 5 years and was a seasonal employee of Syngenta for 7 years.
David was a member of the United Auto Workers Local # 974.
He enjoyed working in his yard, listening to music, dancing, traveling, playing cards, spending time with his granddaughter and was artistic.
A gathering celebrating David's life will be held on a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
