

Born March 7, 1961 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to David Issac and Hazel Marie (Gentry) Wilson, he married Rebecca Meiner on April 3, 1982 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Samantha (Fred) Wilson Krus of Pekin; four grandchildren, Deeken, Dayhahna, December, and Dunn Krus, all of Pekin; five siblings, Rose (Buddy) Farris, Don (Brenda) Wilson, Bibbie Wilson, Willie Wilson and Patricia Wilson and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings, Diane (Pete) Mumm and David Wilson.
Frank was a 1979 graduate of Morton High School.
He worked as a kitchen manager at Dan’s Davis Bros. Pizza at Larry’s Driftwood in Creve Coeur for 30 years and previously at The Original Davis Bros. Pizza & Tap in East Peoria.
Frank enjoyed gardening, cooking, grilling and spending time outdoors doing yard work. He loved hot peppers and old cars, especially talking about his 1972 Super SS Nova and checking out his grandsons’ Hot Wheels collection.
Frank was grateful for the love, care and guidance that he was provided by each of his family members and caregivers over the last few years.
There are no scheduled services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
