Jackie R. Rora

She was born September 7, 1946 in Peoria to Caleb and Leona (Nelan) Purvis. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kristian Howe and one granddaughter, Kayla Fannon.

Surviving are one daughter, Marni Rora of Creve Coeur; one granddaughter, Taylor Stasz of East Peoria; four great-grandchildren, Jaydyn Fannon, Jordan Birts-Randle, Aly’ana Fannon and Kayloni Fannon; two sisters, Dannie (Paul) Swiger and Shirley Johnson, both of Pekin and one brother, Joe (Carlene) Venovich of Tremont.

Jackie had worked as a C.N.A. for Buehler Home in Peoria and Methodist Hospital in Peoria for 40-plus years.

She enjoyed boating, spending time with her friends and spending time with family vacationing in Florida.

Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Robert Finley will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
